Uhlmann Pac-Systeme will take visitors to this year’s interpack on a journey into the digital future centered on pharmaceutical packaging. Aided by virtual reality applications, interactive 3D simulations, and app solutions, they will be able to see which solutions and services the machinery manufacturer is offering to create added value in the future.

By presenting machines, services, and digital applications, the system provider, by its own account, underlines its role as a supplier of integral solutions. Visitors should see that the manufacturer is proficient in all aspects of pharmaceutical packaging offering everything from a single source and standing rightly for 360° Pharma Packaging.

Highlight BLU 400

In addition to the digital trends, the company has an exhibition area of over 700 square meters to present a broad range of diverse packaging solutions: the Blister line BEC 700 with a maximum output of 700 blisters per minute, the Bottle line IBC 120 with format-free bottle transport, practical Track & Trace applications, as well as camera systems for product inspection and information on intelligent services.

The highlight among the exhibited machines reportedly is the BLU 400, a line for the packaging of liquid dose products in blisters. It allows the gentle handling of ampoules, syringes, vials, bottles, cartridges, or pens. The modular design permits suitable configuration for every application. Personnel input for operation and resetting is low, and material consumption is said to be efficient. One example here is the arrangement of the products lengthwise or crosswise to the running direction of the web, which allows full use of the width of the forming material. The BLU 400 in Düsseldorf can be seen packaging syringes. It will operate in conjunction with a cartoner, end-of-line packaging machine, and a serialization solution.
