Konstandin: Product Feeding System for Pharma Blister Packaging Machines
The company has developed a patented feeding system to feed blister packaging machines with tablets and capsules. With the product inspection system that is integrated into the feeder a two side inspection is possible i.e. the bottom surface of the products first. After the products have been placed into the pockets of the film or foil web the upper surface can be inspected. The product feeding system by Konstandin includes an integrated product recovery which makes a packaging process without partially filled blisters possible.

Patented feeding system

The design of the newly developed product feeder allows a very careful product handling and a feeding speed which is lower than the speed of the foil web. The continuous feeding process without accumulation results in a high fill efficiency and a high availability of the feeding system. Besides that, the feeder has a high capacity. Up to 1500 products per track can be fed. This is equivalent to 7500 products per minute on a 5-track machine.
