Arch Packaging is working

Ahlstrom Capital and Accent Equity announced in June their plans to combine the packaging industry operations of the two companies. The necessary arrangements have now been completed according to A&R Carton, and the new company, Arch Packaging Group, and its owner structure became effective as of 26th August 2011. The merger strengthens the competitiveness of the constituent companies A&R and Flextrus, which will continue to operate on the market as separate companies and brands.

A&R Carton, headquartered in Malmö, Sweden, is one of the leading European paperboard packaging solution providers. It employs 1,670 people and has 14 production plants in 8 European countries, as well as a sales network covering Europe, the U.S and parts of Asia. The company’s net sales in 2010 amounted to Euro 353 million, is to be said.
