Ipack-IMA: 54,000 visitors

Saturday marked the last day of Ipack-IMA, the three-yearly exhibition of machinery, technology and materials for processing, packaging and material handling. The event established its role as one of the leading trade shows in Europe: 60 % of visitors came from the Old Continent and there was a increase in international high-profile buyers from emerging countries (40 %). Such outstanding results were brought about by carefully targeting specific visitor groups through the 9 main business communities created by Ipack-IMA.

Total visitors exceeded according to the exhibition 54,000; 25 % were from outside of Italy and particularly from Asia, Africa and the Americas. "The fieramilano exhibition halls hosted 1,300 companies, 35 % of which from 35 countries around the world. The atmosphere was optimistic - said Ipack-Ima Spa CEO Guido Corbella.
