Veränderung der Oberflächenenergie von PE, PP und PET Folien während der Lagerzeit

This study investigates how corona dosages above recommended levels affect film surface energy and hydrophobic recovery on PET, PP-BO and PE-LD. Polar and dispersive parts of the surface energy were measured according to DIN 55660-2 during up to 60 days after corona treatment at different corona dosages of up to 280 W·min/m². The corona effect strength was highest for PE-LD films. Over storage time, surface energy decreased fastest for PET, slower on PE and slowest on PP but was not affected by the corona dosage.
