The new partnership extends the Global Packaging Alliance's reach in the Middle East, one of the most important growing markets. The Turkish packaging manufacturer PrintPark is the newest member to join the Global Packaging Alliance (GPA). The global alliance now unites nine independent packaging companies with the aim of enabling uniform brand presences for FMCG market leaders worldwide. The most recent addition to the network is the Chinese premium folding carton manufacturer ZRP Printing & Packaging.

The Istanbul-based company is a premium manufacturer of folding cartons whose production processes are designed to meet the highest international quality standards. Founded in 1974, the company supplies high-end packaging products to the Beauty & Cosmetics, Confectionary and Drinks/Spirits industries.

Important growing market

Turkey's packaging industry recorded a significant foreign trade surplus last year. According to the Turkish Manufacturer's Association ASD, the volume of foreign trade grew to 539 million US dollars in the first half of 2018 alone - compared to the previous year, this means an increase in the volume of export goods of around 8 %.
