Faster dried by 30%

At the ICE Europe trade show, Baldwin Technology will present new technologies for converting and plastic film. The presentation reportedly will focus on automated cylinder Cleaning systems, Corona surface pretreatment systems, various drying systems as well as technologies for Color management and Defect detection. The technology on display is said to help customers to increase productivity, reduce waste, and to realize safer working conditions.

Portfolio for film extrusion, flexo and corrugated printing

The provider of process-automation equipment, parts, service and consumables is serving the printing, packaging, textile, plastic film extrusion and corrugated industries. As a company of BW Forsyth, the manufacturer is part of Barry-Wehmiller Group. Through innovation and acquisitions Baldwin is said to have created a product portfolio for optimization and automation of film extrusion, flexo and corrugated printing systems, that will be presented at the trade fair in Munich, Germany.

Production with less waste

This includes IR drying with ability to increase production speed by up to 30% and fully automatic cleaning systems for increased printing and extrusion process productivity and quality. LED-UV and conventional UV curing technologies are said to cure or dry inks and coatings instantly. Special web processing systems reportedly provide operaters with even and precise Rotor Spray coating technologies. The company also offers color management and inspection technology solutions for automated workflows in order to meet increasingly complex requirements and exacting standards and to reduce waste.
