100 million in 2020

The Italian Cama Group, developer and manufacturer of secondary packaging systems, is planning sales of 100 million euros for 2020, following 90 million euros expected in the current financial year. These growth targets are said to be achieved by investing in personnel (+ 40% compared to 2017/2018) and a new corporate structure. In preparation for the planned increase, a transition from the concept "employee" to "stakeholder" is to take place. This also includes the construction of a new 35,000 m² company headquarters in Molteno, Italy.

Broader portfolio

More than 5% of sales reportedly will be invested in research and development. With regard to Industry 4.0, the aim is said to be the improvement of processes from engineering to commissioning of machines. In addition, there are technical solutions planned such as a new line of compact wrap-around carton packers and another robotics innovation. A further goal is industrial specialization and the creation of two new departments, i.e., Dairy and PHHC (Personal, Health and Home Care), which will be integrated into the traditional Confectionery & Bakery, Coffee, Petfood and Ice cream divisions.

At Interpack 2020 in Düsseldorf, Germany, the company intends to present its innovations.
