German Packaging Congress: Program published
On 21 & 22 March, the 14th German Packaging Congress will take place in Berlin. Its organizer, the German Packaging Institute (dvi), has just published the 2-day event's program entitled "Image der Verpackung – Zwischen Ruf und Wirklichkeit" [The image of packaging – between reputation and reality"].
Top of the agenda: Recycling
Among others, Gunda Rachut, chairperson of the foundation for the Central Packaging Registry, will provide a summary of how the new Packaging Act fared in its first quarter. And presenters from Unilever, Metro, the Schwarz-Gruppe and Stora Enso will describe how they, as packaging manufacturers, brand-name manufacturers or retailers, have implemented their packaging recycling system.
The second day will focus on workshops. This is where participants can actively work on issues such as recyclability, and the effect of packaging on a company’s image.
